Hello all! I’m here with another flower pattern. Sunflowers are beautiful, bright and cheery. They are the symbol of hope, happiness and warmth. This crochet sunflower is a quick and easy project and would make a wonderful gift to your loved ones.

This pattern is written in US English terms and worked in continuous rounds.
Using brown yarn,
R1: 6 sc in a magic ring (6).
R2: Inc in each st (12).
R3: [ Sc, inc ] x 6 (18).
R4: [ Sc, inc, sc ] x 6 (24).
R5: Sc in each st (24).
Fasten of invisibly and weave in the ends.
Picot stitch (p): Ch 2, sl st in second chain from hook.
Place both the brown circle with right sides facing out. We are going to work the petals through both loops of the the two flower center.
Join yellow yarn into both loops of the brown circles using a sl st and,
[ Ch 2, (dc, trc, p, trc, dc) in next st, ch 2, sl st in next st ] x 12
Start stuffing the circle when you are more than three fourths done and continue to work till the end.
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
Using green yarn,
Leaving a little yarn tail at the start, ch 8.
Starting from second chain on hook, sl st, sc, hdc, dc, dc, dc inc, 4 dc in last chain.
Continue to work on the other side of the chain, dc inc, dc, dc, hdc, sc, sl st in the last.
Fasten of leaving a long tail for sewing.
Finally, sew the leaf to the sunflower at the back.
These crochet sunflowers will make a lovely key chain, brooch or as hairclips. I turned mine into a keychain and added some tassels and charms.
