Hello all. Welcome to my new blog. I’m Anitha from ‘ A little love everyday’. I’m an amigurumi artist and designer. Some of you may have known me from my Instagram page and from my blog paintitcolorful . Let me tell you how my journey and love for amigurumi started.
I’ve been a crafty person ever since I was little. Around 2013, I created a blog with the same name ‘A little love everyday’ to showcase my craft works and to get connected with fellow crafters. I love to dab in all sorts of craft works from drawing, felt, embroidery, crochet and quilling. Then I came across an amigurumi tutorial in YouTube channel which got me completely hooked on Amigurumi. Being a lover of all things cute, amigurumi captivated me. My first few amigurumi were so out of shape and wobbly that I even tried to give it up. But I couldn’t resist making more.
One of my very early pattern Baymax amigurumi that I designed somehow got viral and I was so delighted to see many people make dolls out of the pattern. I was very hesitant to post patterns at the beginning doubting if people will like it. But the baymax pattern gave me the much needed boost to continue designing.
In 2017, I opened my Etsy shop to sell finished amigurumi. It was only at the start of January 2020, when the pandemic hits that I seriously considered selling patterns. Having a own website for my free patterns has always been a dream for me and I’ve been thinking about it for quite sometime. I love my blogger blog very much but it certainly comes with some limitations.
I’m still trying to figure out how to manage a website as it’s completely new to me. I really wish to provide more free patterns for you to enjoy. hope you’ll continue to support me in this new journey of mine. Find my collection of free patterns here. Have a wonderful day friends:)
