October is here, which means it’s time to prep for Halloween! I have designed some fall amigurumi patterns but never made any for Halloween. So I’m starting off by making a simple and quick to make Amigurumi Ghost. Feel free to accessorize it with witch hat or pumpkin (or both if you wish to!).

R2: Inc x 7 (14).
R3-R7: Sc in each st (14). Stuff well.

Fasten off and leave a long tail.
Thread the yarn tail to a tapestry needle, weave the yarn tail through the front loops of the remaining 7 stitches. Pull tight to close the hole. Don’t fasten off.
Now insert the yarn from the bottom centre of the pumpkin and pull to the top centre of the pumpkin. Wrap the yarn around outside and reinsert back through the centre of the pumpkin to the top. This creates a crease. Repeat the process 4 more times keeping equal distance between each creases.
Don’t cut the remaining yarn tail as we need it to sew the pumpkin to the ghost.
Stem:
Using brown yarn,
Ch 3, sl st in second and third chain from hook.
Fasten off leaving a tail.
Sew the stem to the top centre of the pumpkin.
Finally sew the pumpkin to the ghost head.
